Cedar Shakes
Time to stain or paint your Cedar Shakes?
Looking up at your gables and seeing that gray dull look again? Lets pressure wash them properly to remove the mildew before staining this time. We know maintenance of your shakes can be expensive and time consuming. There are many painters out there that just do not know the
correct ways to prepare your shakes for stain. Proper pressure washing is the beginning, Most Minnesota painters do not have the budget when it comes to this piece of equipment and revert to chemicals to strip your stain. Or, they will talk you into a solid color stain saying its the only way to go.
With our pressure washers (5,000 pounds per square inch @ 5 gallons per minute) we can get the mold and mildew out of your shakes without damaging them with chemicals. Our sandblasting experience puts us in a category apart from other painters as we know how to apply the proper amount of pressure to your wood without damaging it. Why paint or seal over shakes that have not had the mold removed?
